Meet The Doctor
Dr. Brad Metzler was born and raised in Omaha, NE where he attended Westside High School and then went on to complete his Bachelor of Arts degree at Stanford University in Palo Alto, CA. He began his Doctor of Chiropractic studies at Palmer College of Chiropractic West in San Jose, CA in the Fall of 2006. Dr. Metzler graduated Magna Cum Laude in December 2009. He is licensed by the Nebraska State Board and is an active member of the Nebraska Chiropractic Association and the American Chiropractic Association.
Dr. Metzler became involved in chiropractic after receiving a wrestling scholarship to Stanford University. Many of his teammates were seeing a chiropractor and suggested he come along after a physically brutal tournament. He believes it was the best decision of his life. He noticed that the treatments were improving his wrestling performance, recovery time, and dramatically reduced the amount of bouts of illness from allergies and the common cold. However, the turning point was when he suffered a neck injury wrestling that appeared to be season ending which would possibly require surgery. Dr. Metzler decided to see his Chiropractor instead and was back on the wrestling mats in two weeks. It was that moment, that he decided to help as many people as possible reach their optimal health and goals in the most conservative way.
Dr. Metzler takes a "whole" person approach to treat each individual patient. He believes in treating both the skeletal and nervous system components, as well as the muscular component. In addition, he focuses on wellness, including ways to eliminate stress in patient's lives and address any diet or ergonomical issues they may encounter.
He believes in taking an active approach to educating his patients about chiropractic and how to live a healthy lifestyle. Dr. Metzler takes time to give his patients the quality care they deserve.
