Dr. Brad Metzler

Dr. Brad Metzler was born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska.  He first fell in love with the Bay Area when he was recruited to wrestle at Stanford University in Palo Alto, CA. There, he competed as the captain of the Cardinal wrestling team and went on to complete his BA degree in psychology with a focus on childhood early development and cultural psychology.  He decided to attend Palmer College of Chiropractic West in San Jose, CA where he served as the Athletic Director of the student body.  Dr. Metzler graduated Cum Laude and was inducted into the International Chiropractic Honor Society.

Dr. Metzler became interested in chiropractic at Stanford when he noticed instant relief after being banged up from a wrestling tournament.  At first, chiropractic care was utilized for sports performance and recovery. This interest grew over the course of his college career and allowed him to return to the mat quickly after a neck and knee injury.  After shadowing multiple chiropractors and seeing the immediate relief patients received without drugs or surgery he made up his mind.  Dr. Metzler respects traditional medicine and enjoys working closely with these providers, but believes non-invasive treatments should be the first option. For Dr. Metzler, patients need to be evaluated as a whole person instead of just a symptom.  The integration of musculoskeletal, neurological and emotional systems cannot be ignored if the source of the problem is going to be addressed.

Dr. Metzler returned to Omaha to open Metzler Chiropractic Clinic in February of 2010.  After three successful years of treating patients and forming many great relationships, he made the decision to return to where his heart was.

From August 2014 until August 2016, Dr. Metzler was the onsite chiropractor at Facebook HQ in Menlo Park before becoming the chiropractor and ergonomic specialist at Square HQ in SF from August 2016 to October 2020.

Dr. Metzler lives in the Marin and enjoys staying active through various activities, such as trail running, cycling, hiking, and lifting and seeing live music.
